Thank you for letting us help in providing a new feather friend for your aviary. Just a few things to let you know about. We take great pride in the health and care of our birds, which is why we only ship out healthy birds. We check each bird before they are prepared to leave for their trip. We want them to arrive at their new homes safely, which is why we only ship out Monday to Wednesday and monitor the weather in both locations, as it takes 24-48 hours from leaving our local USPS office to arrive to yours. Your local USPS office will let you know when they have arrived so that you can go pick it up- we find this to be less stressful for them. When he/she arrives, make sure there is plenty of water available so they can replenish after their trip. If for some reason your new feathered friend does not arrive safely, we need to know within the first 48 hours after arrival. If something does happen, we will need pictures of the sick or deceased. After 48 hours we are not responsible if anything happens to your new feathered friend since they are no longer in our care. This is why it is important to inform us of any issues as quickly as possible. Please email us at nybssales@nybird.com or call 1-800-772-2473 with these concerns.
** Please note that certain breed colors will vary from photos**
Gender is not guaranteed by some species
** If you are requesting a picture of your bird prior to shipping, those requests will be sent out Friday via email. We will try to accommodate them sooner, however to accommodate these requests, it does take time, so we appreciate your patience.
